Expert Tips

  • This dip mixture won’t be completely smooth and that is OK. I like to maintain some chunks of the Christmas Tree Cakes for even more texture.
  • You can easily mix up this dip without an electric hand mixer. Make sure your cream cheese is nice and soft and chop up your Christmas Tree Cakes and it should be easy to mix by hand!
  • If you prefer a smoother dip, you can use a food processor to mix your dip and ensure a more consistent texture. I prefer some bits of cake!
  • Reserve a full or even partial Christmas Tree Cake to add to the top of your dish as a cute garnish!
  • If you’re making this dip ahead of time, wait to add the sprinkles just before serving. The color in the sprinkles may run if the dip sits for too long.

How to Store Christmas Tree Cake Dip

It’s best to keep this dip refrigerated in an airtight container until you are ready to serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to seven days.

I do not recommend freezing this dip as the texture may change.
