Corn Dogs are a nostalgic treat all ages can enjoy! But if we’re being honest, most frozen corn dogs can be a bit underwhelming.

Frozen Corn Dogs cooked in the oven may end up crispy on one side but not all over and possibly still frozen in the center. Corn Dogs cooked in the microwave have a tendency to explode from the inside out.

These were all the challenges you had to grapple with – until you tried making them in the air fryer.

The air fryer is the magic tool you’ve been needing to get Corn Dogs that are perfectly crispy and golden on the outside, while juicy and tender on the inside (just like my Frozen Meatballs in the Air Fryer!). It feels and tastes like they are straight from a street vendor at the fair! Serve them with a side of Stuffed Celery for a delicious lunch.

  • You do not need to thaw your corn dogs at all before cooking them. Place them straight in the air fryer from frozen.
  • Do not overcrowd your air fryer. It’s important that the air can pass all the way around the corn dogs for consistent cooking.
  • Be sure and flip your corn dogs part way through cooking to make sure they crisp on all sides. This also gives you a chance to check on how well done your corn dogs are. Every air fryer is different so you may need to adjust your cooking time.
  • Corn dogs are hot when they finish cooking. Be sure and use some tongs to move them to a plate.
