All you need is three simple ingredients to make a delicious and creamy peanut butter fudge. Perfectly sweet and soft, this 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge is an easy, quick and delicious treat!

I love using peanut butter in desserts. Not only is the flavor incredible but peanut butter has the perfect chemical makeup to bond ingredients together and create treats that are moist, a little sticky and full of flavor.

I’ve played around with peanut butter in lots of classic treats, including Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats and these delicious Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies! I also really love making a peanut-butter based dessert like a simple Peanut Butter Ganache or Peanut Butter Mousse.

But peanut butter fudge? This one is another clear winner!

This fudge is super quick and easy to put together. All you need is a microwave and a little patience! When the ingredients are melted together it creates a fudge that is soft and yummy, not too sweet or rich–just nutty and simple.

You could easily dress this fudge up with chocolate chips or top it with chocolate (like these Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Krispies) but it’s also great all on its own.

  1. Peanut Butter: I highly recommend creamy peanut butter for this recipe. I used Jif!
  2. White Chocolate Chips: Choose a good high-quality white chocolate.
  3. Sweetened Condensed Milk: Be sure and use sweetened condensed, NOT evaporated milk.

  1. Microwave safe bowl: You could also make this recipe in a double boiler.
  2. 8×8 or 9×9 glass pan
  3. Parchment paper: Cover your pan in parchment paper. Parchment paper makes it easy to take the fudge out of the pan to cut it.

How to Make this Recipe

Step One: Combine the peanut butter, white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a microwave safe bowl.

Step Two: Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in-between until all is melted.

Expert Tips

  • This fudge is very soft. Do not be discouraged if it doesn’t set up as solid as you expected. Give it plenty of time to chill and then enjoy the creamy softness!
  • Be careful as you heat your chocolate as white chocolate can easily become seized and burnt. Stir well between each microwave to give it time to melt.
  • For perfect slices, let your fudge get nice and cold before you try to cut it and then run your knife under warm water (and dry it off before using). It should slide through easily!

Do You Need Powdered Sugar to Make 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge?

This recipe does not call for any powdered sugar. The white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk give this fudge enough stability.

If you want your fudge to be a bit more solid you could try adding a tablespoon or two of powdered sugar, but I feel like it makes the fudge too sweet and a bit grainy.

Can I Freeze Peanut Butter Fudge?

Yes, you can freeze this 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge in an airtight container for up to three months.

Do I Need to Refrigerate Peanut Butter Fudge?

You do not need to refrigerate any fudge, and refrigerating it may dry it out!
