Ingredients

  • 1 0.16 oz package Kool Aid, I used Tropical Punch flavor
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 8 oz tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 9- inch graham cracker pie crust

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk the Kool Aid powder into the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
  • Add the Cool Whip into the bowl and use a rubber spatula to fold the sweetened condensed milk into the cool whip.
  • Pour the mixture into the graham cracker pie crust. Place in the fridge for at least two hours to allow the pie to set. Then cut into slices, serve, and enjoy!

  • Kool Aid: You can use any flavor. If you want a tangy flavor, the citrus options might be good, and if you want a sweeter taste, the berry flavors would be great. You can use sugar free Kool Aid, but the flavor will be slightly less bold.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk: Make sure you are not using evaporated milk, which is an entirely different product that is too liquidy for this dish.
  • Cool Whip: Feel free to substitute light if you want to reduce some fat, but keep in mind that the texture will be slightly less creamy, with a more airy texture.
  • Graham Cracker Pie Crust: You can absolutely make your own  but a pre-made crust works just as well! You could also experiment with a vanilla wafer crust for a more buttery flavor.
  • Be sure to mix the Cool Whip in gently. Too much force will make your mixture runny, rather than light and fluffy.
  • This is a great make-ahead dessert since it needs at least two hours to set. Make it the night before and let it set up overnight. Cover lightly with plastic wrap to keep the top from drying out.
  • Garnishes like fresh fruit or a dollop of whipped cream make this simple pie look a bit more fancy!
