Ingredients

  • 1 36 oz container Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 1 package Pillsbury Football Shape Sugar Cookie Dough

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Portion the chocolate chip cookie dough out into 20 different portions of 2 tablespoons each.
  • Roll the dough into a ball shape between your palms. Place each dough ball on an ungreased cookie sheet, gently pressing the ball to slightly flatten the top. You will probably need to use 2 cookie sheets.
  • On top of each chocolate chip cookie dough ball, place 1 uncooked Pillsbury Football Shape Sugar Cookie.
  • Bake for 10-11 minutes or until the edges of the chocolate chip cookies are set. Allow the cookies to rest on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing them to a cooling rack. Enjoy!

  • Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: You can use any chocolate chip cookie dough you prefer. You could even make your Chocolate Chip Cookie dough from scratch if you’ve got the time!
  • Pillsbury Football Shape Sugar Cookie Dough: Explore other cook-and-bake Pillsbury sugar cookies as well!
  • Pillsbury comes out with different sugar cookie shapes seasonally. Save this recipe to try different shapes for Halloween, Easter and Christmas!
  • Plan ahead! Like I said, Pillsbury sugar cookies tend to be seasonal so if you see a shape you want to use, buy it and freeze the dough for when you are ready!
  • Keep the dough cool. Your cookies will spread more if your dough gets warm before baking. For thicker, chewier cookies, keep your dough cool.
