  • Peanuts: I use both salted and unsalted. You could substitute cashews instead of peanuts if you prefer.
  • Peanut Butter Chips: You could use butterscotch chips if you are not a fan of peanut butter and chocolate. You could also use a scoop of peanut butter if you do not have Peanut Butter Chips.
  • White Chocolate Bark: I find that bark melts the best, but you could use white chocolate chips or candy melts instead.
  • Chocolate Bark: I prefer to use semi-sweet chocolate as it melts well with the white chocolate but you could also use milk chocolate if you want to be even creamier.
  • Toppings: Any toppings are optional, but I love to sprinkle my final product with flaky sea salt, mini M&Ms or Christmas colored sprinkles.
  • Your crockpot may run warm or cool, so keep an eye on your mixture to ensure the candy melts but does not burn. After the first hour you may want to check your crockpot every 15 minutes or so.
  • If you want to add toppings like sprinkles or flaky salt, do it quickly before the mixture cools and solidifies.
  • Be sure and give your candy time to cool. It will become more solid as it cools. If it’s not solid when you try to pick it up, you didn’t wait long enough! You can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator or freezer to speed up the process.
