Notes

Recipe Copyright The Domestic Spoon. For educational or personal use only.
  • Cottage Cheese: I prefer to use full-fat cottage cheese for the best flavor and texture
  • Dried Herbs: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Dried Dill, Dried Basil, Salt and Black Pepper. Feel free to play around with these spices if you want a different flavor profile!
  • Lemon Juice: I always recommend fresh lemon juice for the best taste.
  • Using dry seasonings makes this recipe super simple, but you could substitute with fresh herbs if you have some on hand. You may need more fresh dill and fresh basil than you do dried.
  • You can add extra herbs to this easy cottage cheese dip recipe if you prefer. Try it with parsley, cilantro, chives, green onions or tarragon.
  • Some recipes call for a drizzle of olive oil over the top of the dip before serving. Give it a try for another layer to this flavorful dip!
  • The lemon juice in this recipe gives it a fresh, delicious flavor. I don’t recommend substituting with bottled lemon juice. Use fresh.
