Line a plate with parchment paper. Set aside.
Place 1 cup white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and add 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil into the bowl.
Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove the bowl, stir, then microwave again for another 30 seconds. Repeat this in 30 second increments until the white chocolate chips are totally melted (it usually takes me 3 rounds).
Drop 1 sliced, frozen strawberry into the white chocolate and use a fork/spoon to turn the strawberry until it is fully coated in white chocolate. Set on the parchment paper-lined plate. Repeat with all of the strawberries.
Place the plate in the freezer and allow the strawberries to chill for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, melt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. To do so, place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and add 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil into the bowl.
Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Remove the bowl, stir, then microwave again for another 30 seconds. Repeat this in 30 second increments until the semi-sweet chocolate chips are totally melted (it usually takes me 3 rounds).
Remove the white chocolate strawberries from the fridge and coat them in the semi-sweet chocolate, using the same technique as step 4..
Place them back on the parchment paper lined plate and then place the plate back in the fridge for another 10 minutes until the chocolate is set.
Enjoy immediately or place the finished strawberries in a plastic resealable bag for later enjoyment.
