Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 36 Square Pretzels, Snaps
  • 10 oz Pastel Colored M&Ms
  • 24 White Chocolate Candy Melts
  • 12 Rolos
  • 12 Cadbury Mini Eggs

Instructions

Bunny Pretzels

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the pretzel snaps on the parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Place 1 candy melt on top of each pretzel snap.
  • Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 1 minute and 30 seconds, just enough for the white chocolate candy to melt.
  • Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and place one M&M at the bottom of the candy melt. Then place two M&Ms on their sides into the candy melt, forming a bunny shape.
  • Allow the Bunny Pretzels to rest for about 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. If desired, use an edible marker to draw eyes and a mouth on the bunnies. Eat and enjoy!

Flower Pretzels

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the pretzel snaps on the parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Place 1 candy melt on top of each pretzel snap.
  • Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 1 minute and 30 seconds, just enough for the white chocolate candy to melt.
  • Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and place one M&M in the center of the candy melt. Then place 5-6 M&Ms around the center M&M, forming a flower shape. Make sure to use different colors for the petals of the flowers than for the center.
  • Allow the Flower Pretzels to rest for about 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Eat and enjoy!

Egg Nest Pretzels

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the pretzel snaps on the parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Place 1 Rolo candy on top of each pretzel snap.
  • Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 3 minutes, just enough for the Rolo candy to get soft.
  • Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and place one Cadbury Egg in the center of the Rolo, pressing down so that the edges grow around the egg, like a nest.
  • Allow the Egg Nest Pretzels to rest for about 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Eat and enjoy!

  • Pretzels: I prefer the pretzel snaps, which are in a square shape, leaving room for a lot of decoration. You can always try your hand at standard shaped pretzels, though they do have less surface area. Avoid flavored pretzels for this recipe.
  • M&Ms: Use standard sized M&Ms. I highly recommend the Easter, pastel colored M&Ms for the cutest designs!
  • White Chocolate Candy Melts: Get the candy melts they come in small dollops, the size of quarters. If you don’t like white chocolate, you can also use dark chocolate or milk chocolate melting candies. Try these Tru Fru Frozen Chocolate Covered Strawberries for another white chocolate/chocolate combination snack!
  • Rolos: Rolos are a chocolate and caramel candy that have a flat top, perfect for nestling a candy egg into! You can also use a Hershey Kiss if preferred.
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs: Cadbury Mini Eggs are chocolate candies in the shape of eggs. They are made with a rich and creamy chocolate center, and coated in a hard outer shell in pastel shades! Feel free to use off-brand Mini Eggs if you can’t find Cadbury brand.
  • Separate your M&Ms by color before prepping your pretzels. This will make it SO much easier to quickly assemble the Easter Pretzels once they come out of the oven.
  • You will need to move rather quickly to ensure that your chocolate does not harden before you can press your candy into it. For that reason, I only bake about 12 pretzels at a time.
  • Your pretzels will need to cool before you can serve them! Placing them on a plate in the fridge for 10 minutes should do the trick.
  • Draw faces on your cute bunnies using an edible marker if desired!
  • Feel free to make all 3 variations or to just pick one.
  • For expert assembly, place the “M” side down so that you can’t see it in your creations!
