Honey Mustard is a very versatile condiment perfect for salads, sandwiches and dipping. Making your own at home is super easy and allows you to achieve the exact flavor you’re craving!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup Honey

Instructions

  • Mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup dijon mustard, and 1/4 cup honey together in a small bowl until fully combined. Enjoy!

  • Mayonnaise: Mayonnaise makes for a perfectly creamy sauce and takes away some of the bitterness of the mustard. You can use regular or light mayo but regular will give you a creamier dressing. You could also try a substitute like Greek yogurt, but it will add more tang to your sauce. You could also use a vegan mayonnaise to make a Vegan Honey Mustard dressing.
  • Dijon Mustard: Dijon Mustard is the best choice for Honey Mustard. You could also use grainy mustard, but I do not recommend plain yellow mustard.
  • Honey: Of course a good Honey Mustard needs honey! You could try to use maple syrup or agave nectar if you need a substitute for a medically restrictive diet.
  • Feel free to add more or less honey depending on your taste preference. ¼ cup was my perfect amount, but you may like yours on the sweeter side.
